Can I get some guidance on how to upload video to s3 on iOS?
The tutorial to upload an image to s3 on iOS works fine. But attempts to alter it for videos are not achieving much success so far.
I noticed this line in the image upload tutorial:
NSString *picData = [SMBinaryDataConversion stringForBinaryData:imageData name:@"someImage.jpg" contentType:@"image/jpg"];
Why does the binary data need to be converted to a string?
In order to upload videos, which could be large, it would be best to have a multipart upload and present a progress bar to the user.
To do this, am I going to have to pull the upload code out of the core data mechanism?
Any guidance you can give me would be appreciated. Right now I'm stabbing in the dark.
